Located just one block from the courthouse in Newport, Oregon, Yaquina Law is a boutique law firm with two attorneys who are experts in their respective fields. Our small team of legal professionals and attorneys work together closely to achieve truly remarkable results for our clients.
When long time Oregon Coast resident and attorney Dennis L. Bartoldus retired in 2018, Adam Springer acquired his practice. That same year, upon her admission to the Oregon State Bar, attorney Traci P. McDowall joined Adam’s firm, and in 2020, the firm changed its name to Yaquina Law LLC (formerly Adam C. Springer LLC). Adam has practiced law on the Oregon Coast since being admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 2011, starting his own firm in 2014.
Our areas of expertise are personal injury, estate planning, estate administration, real estate, land use, and business law. We pride ourselves on serving our clients by staying up to date with changes in the law and working as a team to guide our clients through the ever changing legal world.
Abby is the first person that you will meet when you phone or visit our office. She has been described by clients as being very pleasant and helpful. Abby was born and raised in central Pennsylvania, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Kutztown University in 1995. Abby moved to the Oregon Coast in the Fall of 2017 and has really enjoyed being here. Abby has over 30 years of experience in customer service that allows her to assist clients with high quality customer service, making them feel comfortable and welcome. Prior to coming to Yaquina Law, Abby worked as a Universal Banker, where she was the customers first point of contact and responsible for a broad range of branch activity. Abby is a wonderful asset to our team and is always looking for ways to improve productivity, efficiency, and accuracy so that we can continue serving our clients better each day.
“At Yaquina Law we truly care about our clients and we prioritize helping them through the legal problem they are facing.”
As an independent consultant to Yaquina Law, Harold Nash provides integral investigation skills to our team. We place our trust in Harold to complete all of our investigative needs. With over 40 years of experience, Harold gives our firm a competitive edge and unique perspective when it comes to the litigation of our cases.
Harold is a past president of the Oregon Licensed Investigators and regional director of the National Association of Legal Investigators. Harold is passionate about getting the facts from each individual, from witnesses to those directly involved, and tracking down every piece of information. Harold is skilled and able to communicate with people and get information when nobody else can.
In addition to his investigative skills, Harold is also full of knowledge in many different areas, such as mechanical, liquid natural gas, fire, and electrical fields. Harold is an asset to Yaquina Law and our clients.
Monique joined Yaquina Law in April 2019 as she was finishing her program to become a nationally certified paralegal. Monique moved to the Oregon Coast when she retired from eleven years of working as police officers in the San Francisco area of California in 2018. After retiring, Monique obtained a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, with an emphasis in Paralegal Studies. Prior to joining Yaquina Law, Monique had the opportunity to work with the Department of Human Affairs, where she handled large volumes of sensitive and confidential information. The experience that Monique gained through her work as a police officer and at DHS has given her a unique perspective on the legal problems our clients are facing. Monique has an aptitude for critically analyzing the facts of a case, and carefully studying the relevant material to assist and support our attorneys and clients with their cases from beginning to end.
“I see every day as an opportunity to learn something new, and I never turn down a challenge.”
